The story behind the painting is that she, an angel from heaven, came down to earth to bring home a pilot who got lost and passed away in world war two.
It started as a tattoo of the girl only but ended up as a full painting! >.<
As the client requested the girl is very inspired by the girls made by the amazing Victoria Frances.
I could work forever on this one, it never become done..
I can't even imagine how long it would have taken if it was in colour lol
I really dislike drawing backgrounds, they take forever to do.. the background on this one is not as half as good as I wanted it to be but I couldn't work on it any longer since I was going nuts hehe.
And since I didn't enjoy drawing the background you can see it in the result.
Well first time I ever draw an air plane at least, not too bad but I think could have done way better..
